Gerald E. "Jerry" Andrews
of West Corners
Gerald E. Andrews passed away at his home on Friday morning, August 19, 2005. He was born in Endicott on March 14, 1915 and was the son of the late Hiram and Elizabeth (Knotts) Andrews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Kathryn R. Andrews. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Marsha Andrews; three granddaughters, Jessica, Marci, and Katie, and their husbands; and two great-grandsons, Jack and Nicholas. He is also survived by his second wife, Elizabeth J. "Betty" Andrews; her four children, Beth, Tom, Mary, and Carolyn, and their families. Jerry was a Navy veteran of WWII and a retired employee of I.B.M. Corporation, Owego. Jerry enjoyed being with his family, bowling, golfing, boating, fishing, and swimming.
Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider contributions in Jerry's memory to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospice Unit, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, N.Y. 13905.
