James Rudnicky, 87, of Naplate, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, at Pleasant View Luther Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ottawa Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven Loftus officiating. Burial will be in Ottawa Avenue Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services.
Mr. Rudnicky was born June 17, 1917, in Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Mary (Chajkowsky) Rudnicky. He married Gladys Jean Brandner on July 13, 1940, in Iowa.
He retired from Libbey-Owens-Ford in 1979 and was a charter member of the Naplate Village Board. He and his wife owned and operated Rudnicky's Tap in Naplate.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mary Jane Fuller of Naplate; a son, John (Janet) of Naplate; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Nellie Bardson of Naplate; and a brother, Walter of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by two sons, James and Joey; a daughter, Nancy Brewer; and two brothers, John and Joseph.
Pallbearers will be Nick Jeffries, Josh Rudnicky, John and Vic Fuller and Dan and Larry Todd.
Memorials may be directed to the donor's choice.
