Funeral services for Mabel G. Harpending, 84, 305 Main St., will be held at Thayer funeral chapel at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Oscar Jelsma, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Dundee cemetery.
Mrs. Harpending died in Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital Friday.
Mrs. Harpending, widow of Anthony Harpending, was born in Dundee, daughter of Elisha and Emma Bailey Gulick. She was a graduate of Starkey Seminary. For the past 30 years she had been a representative of Geneva Nursery Co.
Surviving is her brother Floyd E. Gulick.
