Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in Melancon Funeral Home in Carencro for Tony Vallot, age 70, who passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 4:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette.
Mr. Vallot was a native of Lafayette and a resident of Delcambre for the past fifteen years. He was currently employed for twenty-four years with International Well Testing in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Vallot was a veteran of the military having served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife of seven years, Peggy Vallot, of Delcambre; one son, Tony Vallot, Jr. and his companion, Debbie, of Dallas, TX; one daughter, Tonique Davis and her husband, Patrick, of Carencro; three step sons, Cody Lavergne and his wife, Michelle, of Church Point, Jacob Lavergne and his companion, Darlene Vining, of Sunset and Scotty Lavergne of Lafayette; two step daughters, Trina Lavergne and her companion, Denise Thibodeaux and Julie Lavergne and her companion, Dwayne, all of Sunset; three grandchildren, Halie Vallot, Katelyn Vallot and Toni Vallot; seven step grandchildren; one great step grandchild; one brother, Minus Vallot and his wife, Lula Mae, of Ossun; and one half-brother, Francis Menard and his wife, Rose, of Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Vallot and Rena Menard.
Pallbearers will be Cody Lavergne, Jacob Lavergne, Fredie Vallot, Robert " Peppy" Gautreaux, David Sonnier and Tony Vallot, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Raywood Dugas and Perry Comeaux.
Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue, Louisiana was in charge of arrangements.
