... Geneva Nyson, 79, died Aug 24 at Arbor Manor Care in Spring Arbor, MI.
She was born May 19, 1902 in Alto, [Kent], Mich., and was married to Ferris Griffen In 1921. He preceded her in death in 1927 and she then married William C. Nyson in 1934. He died in February 1963.
Mrs. Nyson had summered in Bay View since 1963 and was hostess, and secretary for the Bay View Campus Club for 12 years.
She wintered in Bradenton, Florida, until 1977 when she returned to Petoskey [MI] and made her home with her daughter Mrs. Marcia Miller until January of this year.
Mrs. Nyson is survived by one son, Thomas Griffen of Dearborn [MI]; one daughter, Mrs. Norman (Marcia) Miller of Petoskey [MI], six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Burial in Lake Forest Cemetery, Grand Haven, MI.
