Glenn, 91, lifelong area resident, passed away Friday. He was the son of Horace A. and Mary (Backus) Hanson.

Beloved husband of Dorothy W. (Lillywhite), whom he married July 3 1943 in Gregory. Dear father of Robert (Jane) Hanson of Howell and David (Norma) Hanson of Mason; grandfather of Brian (Bridget) Hanson of Livonia, Jeff Hanson of Howell, Todd (Colleen) Hanson of Novi and Jennifer (Richard) Burn of Chula Vista, CA.; great-grandfather of seven.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Horace C. and Josephine.

Glenn was a 1938 graduate of Howell High School and a retired local dairy and agricultural farmer. His former activities included member of Michigan Milk Producers Association, Livingston County Road Commissioner, State Director of Michigan Farm Bureau, member of the Holstein Association, Federal Land Bank and active in 4-H.

He was a member of Chilson Hills Church, Howell where funeral services were held Tuesday, July 10.

MacDonald Funeral Home, Howell was in charge of the arrangements.
