Willard was the first child of John and Amanda (Webb) Holloway, and the Grandson of William and Mary (Pitman) Webb of Ohio. He came to Indiana with his Mom and Dad from Middletown Ohio in the late 1840's. I beleive he liked to be called William, his middle name. At the age of 21 he went to work with his Father at the Mill. Later he moved to Lafayette Indiana where he Married Susan Elizabeth Mclaughlin on Dec./27/1870. In time they had two children together, one son and one daughter, they may have been twins, they died at birth or in Infancy. Willard and Susan were Married for 20 years before he died. Willard was also a Clothing Salesman for the Klein Clothing Establishment and the When Chothing Store of Lafayette for many years. Willard loved his Home, to him it was the Brightest of all places, if you look at his Headstone, it is shaped like a House. He was also a Honored member of the Masonic Order. In February of 1890 he came down with Typhoid Aneumonia and died on February /19/1890. Willard died at the age of 43 years old.
