Leonard B. Juneau was born in Shawnee County, Dec. 9, 1865, the son of Narcisse and Madeline Yott Juneau. He lived on the farm with his parents and attended the Jesuit-staffed St. Marys College, St. Marys, Kansas.
He was first married on Nov.9, 1896, to Mary C. Starr in North Topeka. That marriage did not last and he married Mollie Matthews on May 19, 1871. Leonard and Mollie lived on Central Avenue in Topeka and his occupation was listed as a "collector."
They had four children:
Estella Juneau (May 18, 1903-Aug. 17, 1970)
Nellie M. Juneau
Charles G. Juneau (Dec. 9, 1909-8-20-1940)
Leonard F. Juneau (July 24, 1913-Oct. 16-1924)

Leonard and Mollie are buried on the Angeline View Watkins lot of Prairie Home Cemetery.
