Careyl A. Burton, 89, a resident of Eveleth, formerly of Brainerd, died July 16, 2004, at the Arrowhead Nursing Home in Eveleth.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held July 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Bill Vouk III officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls.
Careyl A. LeDoux Burton was born Feb. 27, 1915, in Little Falls to the late Edward and Laura LeDoux. She was united in marriage to Russell Burton on Aug. 20, 1933.
Survivors include her sons, Gail Burton and wife Leona of Little Falls, Russell Burton and wife Karen of Florida; daughter Dianne Roberts and husband Thomas of Eveleth; brothers, F. J. LeDoux, Woodrow LeDoux and Robert LeDoux, all of California; sister Phylis “Peggy” Garlock of Nevada; 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; brother, Leroy LeDoux and granddaughter, Kristie Burton.
