Hoeneman died Thursday, August 12, 1993, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
Elnora Lauritsen was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Kennard. She grew up on a farm in rural Kennard and graduated from Kennard High school. She helped her husband farm near Blair until moving to a farm northeast of Fremont in 1949.
She moved into Fremont in 1977. She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Eagles Auxiliary, Five O Extension Club and Senior Citizen's Bowling League.
Lauritsen married Clifford Taylor March 14, 1943, in Kennard. He died in January 1986. She married Marvin Hoeneman Nov. 24, 1989. He survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Michael Taylor of Nickerson, Gordon Taylor of Fremont and Wayne Taylor of Omaha; a stepdaughter, Lorie Aulston of Julesburg, Colo.; a stepson, Kent Hoeneman of Craig; a brother, Byron of Kennard; two sisters, Loraine Taylor and Ruth Frink, both of Fremont; two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother.
The Revs. Mark Grorud and Benard Nelson officiated Saturday's service. Visitation at Ludvigsen Mortuary in Fremont. Burial at Memorial Cemetery.
A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.
