Carl Harrison Harmon, age 90, of Maryville, passed away Monday, August 29, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Annie Young Harmon; infant daughter, Brenda Faye Harmon; parents, George and Maggie Harmon; and brothers, Arthur and Johnny Harmon.
He is survived by his children and spouses, Emma McCollum, Carl "Ed" and Crystal Harmon, David Harmon, Allen and Penny Harmon, JoAnn Harmon, and Lisa Harmon Jones; 15 grandchildren; 15great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Harmon; sisters, Prudy Harrison, Ellen Everett, and Ruth Taylor; and all of his friends at the Music Barn in Madisonville.
Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 1, 2011 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, with Rev. Gerald Taylor officiating. The interment will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Zions Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
