Mrs. Della Maud Followell was born in 1881 in Carbondale. She had lived in the Murphysboro area since 1907. She left sisters, Carrie Myers of Miami, Florida and Ora Nightengale of East St. Louis.
She married H. O. Followell in 1900. Se left the following children: Percel of Auburn, Calif., Charles of Murphysboro, and Mrs. Helen Lucier of Murphysboro.
Mrs. Followell died at the age of 75 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Helen Lucier.
