MARTIN LEON ANDING
Martin Leon Anding, 74, peacefully left us for eternal rest on June 28, 2012 in New Braunfels, TX, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Natchez, MS on October 10, 1937, Martin was a loving, caring family man who traveled the world and lived a full and rewarding life here on Earth.
Martin was preceded in death by his loving parents, Martin Luther Anding and Dutchez Irene Anding, sister Grace Bradley, and son Martin Lane Anding.
Martin is survived in life by his wife of 33 years, Kathy; Children Michael, Katherine, Lynsey, and Matt; and 5 adoring grandsons.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force, was a part of the NASA Apollo 12 launch, and owned several of his own successful businesses.
After 24 years with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Martin retired in Dec. of 2010 as the Senior Director of Special Services. He was dedicated to his career and his co-workers were his friends and second family.
He loved hunting, fishing, traveling, and sharing stories around a campfire. Above all, he was a family man. Martin was an American patriot, was never late, always offered you a drink, and would go out of his way to help anyone in need.
Donations can be made in his honor to the Star of Hope Mission.
A memorial celebration will be held Sunday July 8, 3-6 PM at Cy-Fair ISD Berry Center, 8877 Barker Cypress Rd., Cypress, TX. 77433.

Martin married Mollie S (Anding) on 12 Mar 1961, they divorced 13 Dec 1978 in Brazos Co., TX. they had two children under the age of 18 when they divorced.
Martin then married Kathy R Osborne on 23 Dec 1978 in Chambers Co., TX. They actually divorced 16 July 2003, but remarried 26 Feb 2005 all in Harris Co., TX.

Martin was a kind man with many stories, great sense of humor, a friend and co-worker. We had a lot of good laughs and he will truly be missed. I will be out of town next weekend for the memorial service but my thoughts and prayers will be with his family and friends. God Bless

Martin will be missed by all. His service to Cy-Fair ISD was most valuable as he managed the many construction projects of the District. He was always so uplifting and positive. Our thoughts ae with your family. Dan Dodson,
