Actress, Dancer. Born in Paris, Tennessee, she was raised in California and as a teenager she became a regular in silent Western movies. After leaving films, she became a professional dancer and married her dance partner, Don Jennings. Together as the Don and Sally Jennings Dance Team they performed in tours from Chicago to Hawaii and in China in the 1930s. In 1943, she married James Monte Maloney, a big-band leader from Texas, known as Jimmy Joy. She used the stage name Sally Joy and danced until 1947, when she retired from the entertainment business.
