Nellie Mae Young Wiggins Gurley, age 88, of Maryville, died at the home of her daughter on the 11th of November 2006.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by husbands, George S. Wiggins and Ulis V. Gurley; parents, Charles and Josephine Young; brothers, Ed., Auther, Horace, Rosco, and Robert Young; and sisters, Beulah Sosebee and Della Fuller.
Survived by her sons, Bobby Joe Wiggins and wife Joyce and Gary D. Wiggins all of Maryville; daughter, Ellen Jo Kelley and husband Jack of Maryville; three grandchildren, Bobby Kelley of San Diego, CA., Kim Wiggins Matlock and husband Rex of Maryville, and Jennifer Kelley Provens and husband John of Maryville; five great grandchildren, Cassidy and Keagon Matlock, and Oliver, Jacob, and Allison Provens; nine stepchildren, several nieces and nephews; and special niece Betty Jo Hohenburger and husband Ed of Alpharetta, GA.
Funeral service will be held 7:30 PM Monday, November 13, 2006 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. George Macht and Rev. Clarence Evans officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Clark's Grove Cemetery for the graveside and interment service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blount Memorial Hospice, 1095 E.Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37804. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
