Funeral services for Allen Oscar Bertram, 42 years of age, were held Tuesday at 2 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Philip Bertram with the Rev. A.H. Gregory in charge assisted by Rev. R.L. Sleamaker and Rev. E.P. Gast.
Mr. Bertram died Saturday, December 9 at 1:00 o'clock following a heart attack. Burial was in Brookside Cemetery.
A former resident of Campbellsville, Mr. Bertram was born in Albany, Ky, the son of the late Judge O.B. Bertram, and Mrs. Bertram, who later moved to Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ at an early age and was a member of the Campbellsville Methodist Church. He was united in marriage to Miss Nell Hedrick in 1923 and to this union two daughters were born, Grace Allan and Peggy Burton. Besides his wife and children, Mr. Bertram is survived by his mother, Mrs. O.B. Bertram, city; brothers; Philip Bertram, with the U.S. Army in France, and George Bertram, city, and three sisters; Mrs. Owen Manley, Fayette County, Mrs. J.W. Miller, Greensburg.
