MRS. MARGARET CARTWRIGHT
Died at 8 o'clock Monday evening at the home of her son-in-law, William Black of East Second Street, Williamsburg. For the past year she had been in declining health, but her condition did not become serious until three weeks ago, when she was confined to her bed.
She was a daughter of Washington and Margaret (Acker) Gunnett, born in Blair County, Dec. 20, 1844.
Since the death of her husband a number of years ago, she had made her home among her brothers, Henry of Duncansville, George of Lebanon, Frank of Philadelphia and the following children: Mrs. Samuel Stephens and Mrs. William Black, both of Williamsburg, Mrs. John Generich of Springfield, O.; George of Clappertown, Harry of St. Louis, Mo.
When in this community she was a regular attendant at the Methodist Episcopal Church and was respected by a wide circle of friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at the house. Interment in Royer Cemetery.
