Her parents married Dec. 29, 1899 in Northbridge. Her father was 22y, machinist, born Holland; son of Jacob Wassenaar and Tetje Hogerhuis. Her mother was living in the Linwood section of Northbridge, 21y, worked at home, born Holland; daughter of Meindert KRUL and Corneliske T. Schultze.

Her father was born 24 Nov 1877, region of Barradeel. Her mother was born 22 March 1878, region of Hemelumer Oldeferd, both in Friesland.
