Mrs. Elease Middleton "MA" was born July 15, 1928 to Isaac and Rose Prioleau. Elease was the second of ten children, born in Rocks Pond, South Carolina. She accepted Christ at an early age joining Silas United Methodist Church in Eutawville, South Carolina.

She met and married Layman Paul Middleton, Sr. (Deceased) and to this union six children were born; Paul Jr., Elouise, Betty, Mamie, George and Jeffrey. In 1957 Elease moved to Boston where she held various jobs and later retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after thirty plus years of employment.

Elease joined New Hope Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Missionary for twenty seven years. In 1984 she joined Lily of the Valley Baptist Church where she continued 7 years later and became a Deaconess. Elease joined New Hope Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a Missionary for twenty seven years. In 1984 she joined Lily of the Valley Baptist Church where she continued to serve as a Missionary and then later became a Deaconess. She was an honorary member of Voices of Wisdom Choir.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Siblings; Annie Lee, Abraham (Evern), Samuel (Otta Lee), Rosa Lee (Wade James Jr. Deceased), and James B; Sister in laws; Mamie Lee, Henrietta, and Dorothy Children; Paul Jr., Elouise, Betty (Ivy Ponder-Deceased), Mamie, George and Jeffrey Seventeen Grand children, 12 Great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, family and her special friend Deaconess Alice McNeil and her traveling buddy, Fanny Hu Preceding her in death; Husband: Paul Siblings: Willie, Rueben, Daniel, and Joe
