Belleview - Lydia Kress Horton, 89, died at Hampton Manor in Ocala on June 28th, 2012. She was born in Crow Rock, Montana and moved to this area from Kokomo, Indiana in 2001. She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, crossword puzzles, and loved Fox News. Mrs. Horton is survived by her sons, Leonard (Helen) Kress, Jacksonville, FL, and Lonnie (Sharon) Kress, Belleview: daughter, Gunvar (John) LeHew, Belleview, FL; 13 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 3rd, 2012 at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview with Pastor Michael West and Rev. Ronald S. Walker officiating. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Baptist Church, 3693 SE 95th Street, Ocala, FL 34480 or Faith Promise Missionaries, Baptist World Mission, PO Box 2149, Decatur, AL 35602-2149.
