David "Brodo", a resident of Espaņola, was predeceased in by his maternal grandmother Rosie McCall; great-uncle Jim McCall and step-grandmother Linda McCall.
David was survived by his mother June R. McCall of Espaņola; father David A. Cantrell of Fort Peck, Montana; sisters: Amber D. Cantrell (husband Jerome Pratt) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Cheyenne K. Cantrell (husband Tino T. Enriquez) of Espaņola; Autumn R. Cantrell (husband Alfred Billingsley Jr.) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Crystalyn M. Cantrell of Espaņola; nieces and nephews: Nikolai J. Baca, Rosie J. Cantrell, Fabian A. Pacheco III, Hunnessy M. Enriquez, all of Espaņola; and Keyonna M. Todd of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandfather Ray W. McCall of Yuma, Arizona; aunts and uncles: Melissa McCall (husband John Quintana) of Peņasco, Vernon McCall (wife Trudy) of Espaņola, Karl Guinn (wife Elizabeth) of Espaņola, Clide Romero & Veda McCall of Alcalde, Cecilia Garcia of Abiquiu, and Ernest Trujillo of Chimayo; and numerous other relatives and friends.
David was very fun loving and he enjoyed hunting and being outdoors and music. He loved his family and friends.
Public visitation and Rosary were on July 2, 2012 in the Chapel of Peace of DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. A second Rosary and Mass of Christian burial were recited on July 3, 2012 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Burial followed at the Abiquiu Catholic Cemetery.
