On the other hand, on Mar. 28, 1784, "Deborah Fitch, wife of Asa" was admitted a member of the Mansfield, Conn. First Church, followed on Apr. 4, 1784 by the baptism of six children (in the order written assuming Hannah was the eldest): "Hannah, Asa, Elenor, Roxilena, Ethelinda and Isaac." An unnamed child of the family was bapt. at the same church, likely dau. Deborah, Oct. 12, 1788, but the last digit is stated to be blurred. In the meantime, on Mar. 8, 1785, "Deborah Fitch, wife of Asa," was admitted a member of the Windham First Church. According to the Town of Lebanon's cemetery records, Asa was interred in the year 1824, confirming the missing (repaired) year of his death on his gravestone. Further, based on his recorded date of birth the word "Aged," one of the variations of the Latin term Ætatis suæ, was correctly used in his inscription. That is, on the day Asa died he was 71 years old, and Ætatis suæ (i.e., Æ, "Aged," in the XX year of his Age) 72.
