She was born on January 16, 1909, in Salamanca, New York, moving to Culver City, CA, in 1934, and eventually moving to the Salinas area in 1994.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, John M. and Robert L. Phillips; her grandchildren, Sara Ellen and Mike Phillips; her great-grandson, Michael James Phillips; by her son, Jimmy Phillips, and her husband, Lloyd Phillips.
Other than rooting for her beloved Dodgers, she was constantly rooting for her greatest passion - her family.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, from 1-5pm and 7-9pm at Struve and Laporte Funeral Chapel. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 7, 1pm in the Harbor Chapel on Dolan Road in Moss Landing. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, CA.
