"MOUNT ALTO - Joseph Franklin Duff Sr., 61, of Mount Alto, Rt. 1, Jackson County, died Sunday at Pinecrest Hospital, Beckley. He was a self-employed painter and was an employee of the old State Road Commission.
Surviving: daughters, Mrs. Pauline Pearson of Point Pleasant, Mrs. Mildred Morgan of Cottageville, Mrs. Rosalyn Rayburn of Mount Alto, Mrs. Bonnie German of Gallipolis Ferry; sons, Joseph Franklin Jr. of Point Pleasant, William Perry of Mount Alto, Rt. 1,; sisters, Mrs. Mildred McCord of Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Florence Stephens of Gallipolis, Ohio, Mrs. Irene Roush of Point Pleasant, Rt. 2; half-sister, Mrs. Gladys Young of Houston, Tex. Service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m in Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with the Rev. Herman Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Flower Cemetery, Leon."
