The funeral services for Martha Mary Allen, 94, Mt Vernon will be held Jan. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Milliken Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Harlan Peterson officiating.
Friends may call from 7-9 pm Jan. 19 at the Milliken Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.
She was born to Mr. and Mrs, John Knutson, Dwight, Ill., on July 6, 1876 and died at the Storla Sunset Nursing home.
Martha Knutson married James Levi Allen in Mitchell, 1907.
Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Orval (Jessie) Croston, Kadoka; Mrs. Lucille Aszmus, Stickney; nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five brothers, five sisters, one son, and one daughter.
