DUNKIRK, Mar. 27 -- Final rites for Samuel Ream, 70, retired farmer who died at his home in New Stark, Ill. (sic--should be Oh.), will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Keiper funeral home, Dunkirk.
Formerly of Hardin-co, he was born Sept. 14, 1877, and on November 4, 1900, married Myrtle Pratte (sic) who survives.
He also is survived by one daughter, Mrs. B. D. Good; a son, Harold, both of Toledo; one brother, Elihu Read (sic) of Ada and five grandchildren. THE LIMA NEWS obituary, Lima, Oh., Mar. 1948 A.D.

Retired Farmer, 70, Dies At Home In New Stark; Arrangements Incomplete
Samuel Ream, 70, retired farmer, died at 11 p.m. Thursday at his home in New Stark. Ill seven years, his death was due to heart disease.
A son of Mr. and Mrs. Ephraim Ream, he was born on Sept. 14, 1877 in Hardin county. On Nov. 4, 1900, he married Myrtle Pratte (sic), and she survives.
Mr. Ream also leaves one daughter, Mrs. R. D. Good; a son, Harold, both of Toledo; one brother, Elihu Ream, Ada; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was a member of the Ada Disciples Church of Christ.
The body was taken to the Keiper funeral home, Dunkirk, where it will remain for services. Interment will be in Dunkirk cemetery. Arrangements have not been completed. THE REPUBLICAN COURIER obituary, Findlay, Oh., Fri., 26 Mar. 1948 A.D.
