International Motorsport Champion-Winner of 1965 24 Hours at Daytona, Winner of the 1966 12 Hours at Sebring and 2nd at the 1966 24 Hours at LeMans. He also set a land speed record at Bonneville in 1956. Inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2001.
Ken served in the British Army during WWII and landed at Normandy on June 26, 1944. Emigrating to the US in 1951, he designed and constructed a 1954 MG race car known as "The Shingle" which dominated sports car racing on the West Coast. Became a naturalized US citizen in 1959. Test driver for Ford and Carroll Shelby in the development of the GT40. Killed in an accident while testing at Riverside Raceway.
