Esther Mae Melody, 71, died Thursday, Jan 2, 2003 at her home. She was born Nov 11, 1931 in Topeka to Homer and Alva Humbert. She moved to the Magic Valley area of Idaho more than 45 years ago. Her husband G.R. Melody and one son preceded her in death. Survivors include three sons, Herb Melody, Twin Falls; Ben Melody, Nampa; Tom Melody Boise Idaho; a daughter Marie Vayer of Dale City VA, eight Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Mrs. Melody was cremated, inurnment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Topeka.
