GAREY, EDWARD H.

Edward H. Garey, 86, a resident of Saginaw for 75 years passed away Wednesday morning at St. Mary's hospital. Born May 7, 1860, at Perry Sound, Ont., he came to Saginaw as a child and has lived here since. He was a member of St. Andrew's church and Holy Name Society. Miss Ella Gavagan, whom he married here in 1885, died in January, 1944. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. R. J. McDonald, and two sons, Edward J. and Thaddeus Garey, of Saginaw, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will take place at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Case chapel and at 10 a.m. at St. Andrew's church. Rev. Fr. Timothy Kroboth will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew's cemetery. Friends will meet at 8:30 p.m. Friday at the chapel to recite the rosary. Friends may see him at the chapel after 6 p.m. Thursday.
