She was born July 24, 1926, in Duisburg-Hamborn, Germany, the daughter of Ferdinand and Maria (Gabowski) Jahny.
On December 10, 1952, she married Allen Junior Embry. He preceded her in death on December 26, 1981.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Arrangements by R.L. Leintz Funeral Home.
