Funeral services for John E. Mueller, 84, of Creighton were held Wednesday, March 17, 1993 at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton.
Reverend Paul Banitt officiated with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Oltjenbruns, Roger Eggerling, Arnold Henes, Dwain Neumann, Don Frisch and Everett Beckman.
The son of Fredrick and Johanna (Wubbanhorst) Mueller was born October 31, 1908 at Hooper. He died Saturday, March 13, 1993 at his home.
He attended Creighton schools and was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton.
He was married to Lilly L. Doerr on February 14, 1935. They farmed east of Creighton. He served on the Creighton township board and Creighton Rural Fire District, of which he was president for 35 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton.
He is survived by his wife; two children and their spouses, Ruth and Delmar Andersen of Winnetoon and Fredrick and Cyndy Mueller of DeWitt, IA; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
