Word has been received here that James Brown, son of Bennett Brown, was killed in a mine at Panther, I[ndian] T[erritory]. Bennett Brown was formerly superintendent of the Brighton mine.
Mr. Bennett Brown married Miss Nellie Moonlight.
They are now living at Huntington, Ark., where he is superintendent of a chain of mines.
The body will arrive at 11:45 over the Missouri Pacific. The funeral will be held from the depot. Interment at Mt. Muncie.
