Mr. Harold W. Reynolds, 72, 794 Brock Rd., Rockmart, formerly of Carroll County, died Saturday, May 20, 2000 at his residence. He was born February 4, 1928 in Banning, GA. He was a member of Rockmart Church of God, a U.S. Coast Guard Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member and past commander of Rockmart American Legion Post No. 12 and a retired Goodyear Shift Foreman with 30 years service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Watson and Wyley Grace Duke Reynolds. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Gladys V. Reynolds of Rockmart; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy Gaston of Rome and Mrs. S. Jill Cole of Rockmart; four grandsons, Wes Baldwin, Austin Cole, both of Rockmart, Ryan Gaston of Tuscaloosa, AL and Colt Gaston of Rome. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 22 from Rockmart Church of God with Rev. Ed Pasley and Rev. Delton Harne officiating. Interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers: Bill Duvall, George Lucas, Glenn Argon, Lamar Reynolds, Charles Campbell, David Campbell, Ollie Gaston and Thomas Argo. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
