The body of Henderson J Lloyd, a 65 year old Spotsylvania resident, was discovered yesterday in some woods across from Berkeley Elementary School off state route 738 near Partlow, Lloyd had been missing since Nov 8, when he was last seen at his resident. A child getting off the school bus spotted the body.
There were no overt signs of foul play involved in the case, according to Spotsylvania Investigator Albert Stewart, but the body will be sent to the state medical examiner's office in Richmond for an autopsy.
Lloyd was a Army Veteran of World War ll, and a member of Olivet United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his mother Mrs. Virgie Lloyd of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Dickinson of Fredericksburg, and Mrs. Hattie Cox of Stafford; two brothers Frank S Lloyd and Raymond M Lloyd, both of Spotsylvania.
