Edward Craig Dies Friday at His Home
Edward Craig, 80, of 805 East 5th Street died Friday at his home.
A resident of Cheyenne since 1930, he was born in Glenwood, Minnesota on May 26, 1901.
A gardener, he worked for Francis E. Warren and married Beulah Belle Wilson August 24, 1950, in Fort Collins, Colorado.
He was affiliated with the Morrie Avenue Church of Christ and was a member of the Golden Age Club.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah B. Craig, of Cheyenne; his daughter, Mrs. Dalphine (Dolly) Dyer of Santa Ana, California; his step-daughters, Louise Wilson, Joyce Shifflett and Emma Moore, all of Cheyenne; Ella Mae Lavergne of Houston, Texas; a step-son, Edwin Winfield of Pittsburg, California; several nephews, 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Schrader Chapel with the Rev. Randy Matthews officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
