Mrs. Edith Elizabeth Fisher, aged 80, wife of Henry Hillard Fisher and daughter of the late Henry and Ann Spear Acheson, died at the residence, 1735 Willoughby avenue, yesterday afternoon at 1:55 o'clock. She was a native of Dublin, Ireland, and for the past 43 years was a well-known resident of Norfolk. She was a charter member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Miss Mabel Fisher; two sons, Arnold A. Fisher of Norfolk and Cecil H. Fisher, of Wilmington, Del.; four grandchildren, Mrs. J. Wesley Jordan, Edith Sue and Arnold J. Fisher, Jr., of Norfolk and Harry Mayo Fisher, of Wilmington, Del.; five brothers, Leonard Acheson, of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Harold Acheson, of Bradenton, Fla.; Walter Acheson, of Chandler, Ariz.; Victor Acheson, of San Diego, Cal. and Edwin Acheson, of St. Louis and one sister, Mrs. C. Meissner, of Glenside, Pa. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
