Billie Faye Haddock Hardesty, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, Colleyville. Interment will follow immediately in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
Billie was born Jan. 20, 1931, in Colorado City. She married Ed Hardesty on July 28, 1957. She loved music, singing and being around people. She had many friends from all different walks of life and will be greatly missed by all those who really knew her. She was preceded in death by parents, Leslie E. and Laura A. Haddock; sisters, Vernell and Sherry Haddock; and her sons, Stephen Paul and Ricky Abohosh.
Survivors: Her loving husband of 54 years, Edwin H. Hardesty; daughter, Sheryl Ann McCray and husband, "Buzz" Breece; brother, Joe Haddock and wife, Mary Lou; granddaughters, Tonya McKay and husband, Vincent, and Angela Abohosh; grandsons, Sam Faught and wife, Katy; great-grandchildren, Brawley and Bistol, Ryan and Christopher Abohosh; stepgranddaughter, Shelby Brogan and husband, Lance; and stepgrandson, Brett McCray.
