ROCHELLE -- Funeral services for Mary R. Baker, 59, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel of Frazier and Son Funeral Home. The Rev. Talmadge Wilcox officiated. Burial followed in Morningside Cemetery.
Miss Baker died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at her residence.
Born Nov. 4, 1947 in Turner County, she was the daughter of Arthur Baker and the late Virginia Louise Calhoun Baker. She had lived in Wilcox County all her life and was an employee at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Cordele. She was of the Baptist faith and was a very loving and giving sister.
Survivors include her father, Arthur Baker of Rochelle; brothers, Nelton Ray Baker, Elvin A. Baker and Michael E. Baker all of Rochelle, Aldo H. Baker of Cordele, Arthur Lee Baker of Vienna, and Donnie G. Baker of Pitts; sisters, Merilyn NeSmith of Dublin, Myra McCranie of Bonaire, Nettie Mae Baker, Cynthia M. Adkins and Nellie Faye Baker all of Rochelle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Frazier and Son Funeral Home of Rochelle had charge of the arrangements.
