Olga Johnson, 87-year-old resident of Little Falls, Minn., formerly of Freedhem, Minn., passed away Friday, July 31, 2009, at the Amazing Days Elderly Care Center north of Randall, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls with Rev. Nate Bjorge officiating. Burial will be at Freedhem Lutheran Cemetery in Freedhem, Minn. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Little Falls and from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the church. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral chapel.

Olga was born to John and Martha Habas on July 4, 1922. She grew up in Swan River Township, Morrison County, Minn. Olga and Danford Johnson Sr. were united in marriage on Nov. 27, 1947, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Freedhem. They operated a purebred Holstein farm in the Freedhem area until 1971. The couple was actively involved in the community. Olga was a member of First Lutheran Church in Little Falls. The last five years of her life she resided at Pine Grove Manor, Little Falls. Left to cherish her memory, she is survived by her children, Arliss Bement (Harry), of Brainerd, Minn., Edith (Keith) Olson, of Manitoba, Canada, Ellen (Kenneth) Clayton, Winston-Salem, N.C., Danford Jr. (Rana), of Little Falls, Minn., and Linda (Kevin) Anderson, of South Padre Island, Texas. She leaves one sister, Lorayne Gunderson; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and friends. Olga was predeceased by her parents; husband of 57 years, Danford Sr. (2003); sisters, Mary Habas, Ann Quickstrom (Nestor), Kathryn Tarasar (Paul), Susan Bloom (Elmer), Helen Habas; and her brother, Joseph Habas (Muriel).
