Thomas migrated to the U.S in 1888 and was naturized in 1908. He entered the U.S. Army on 7 Aug 1918 and was honorably discharged on 1 Feb 1919. He was a bricklayer by trade.
Thomas married Laura McIntosh on 10 Jun 1918 and they had one known son. His death occurred before that of his son. He is buried in the McIntosh family Lot where his wife and son are also interred.
