Anna R. Bantz, 88, died Monday at her home. Mrs. Bantz, who was born in Muncie, attended Muncie schools and spent most of her life in the Muncie area. She formerly worked at Ontario Sivlerplate (now AeroForge) and during World War II worked at Ball Corp. She was a member of Fountain Square United Methodist Church, where she had been on several committees, and was a member of several different organizations.
Survivors include a son, William C. Bantz (wife: Carolyn), Muncie; a daughter LIVING (husband: LIVING), Muncie; a sister Mary Anderson, Muncie; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a,n, Wednesday in Meeks Mortuary, with Rev. David Harrold officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Calling will be 5-8 p.m. today and before services Wednesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Fountain Square Methodist Church, 4405 S. Madison St., Muncie, 47302.
