Born in Moncton, NB; she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Savoy and Mary Ellen (Steeves) Savoy. Phyllis was an active volunteer with the East End Boys and Girls Club for over twenty five years, she was also a member of the Moncton Dart Club and a former member of the Moncton Royal Canadian Branch No. 6.
She is survived by her husband of forty years, Douglas M. Killam; her sons, Dougie Jr. (Laura), and Darren (Rachel) all of Moncton, Danny of Fredericton; grandchildren, Nick, Tia, Breanna, Owen, Ellie, Danielle, Jerrica and Christine; sisters, Connie (Bob), Rose, Jean, and Debbie all of Moncton; brothers Paul of the west coast, and Joe and Ricky of Ontario; brother-in-law, Romeo LeBlanc (the late Louise Savoy LeBlanc) of Salisbury NB; as well as nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jeannette and Louise; and by her brother Francis.
