Parton, Ben age 83 of Seymour, TN passed away Friday, June 15, 2012. He was a well known brick mason in the Knoxville and Sevier County area for over 42 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Leotta Parton; son, Benny Parton; and several brothers. He is survived by his daughter, Deloris McCoy and husband Brandon; brother, Frank Parton and wife Bernice grandchildren, Jackie Green, Jason Davis, Marshall, Austin, and Jaima McCoy ; 5 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Anthony, Austin, Brianna, and Benjamin; step-granddaughter, Ashley Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Junior and Rose Inman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with funeral services immediately following at 7:00 P.M. at Highland South Funeral Home with Reverend Junior Sullivan and Reverend Mickey McCoy officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Highland South Memorial Park.
