Fred M. Wade, for some time a resident of Manchester, and for several years a resident of Cedar Rapids, passed away at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids Saturday, October 7th, 1944, at the age of 77 years. His illness was of short duration.
Funeral services will be held at the Barta mortuary in Cedar Rapids, Wednesday morning at ten o'clock, with burial in Oakland cemetery here.
Mr. Wade was born at Champaign, Illinois, Oct. 20th, 1867. He was graduated from Butler college at Irvington, Indiana, in 1887, before he was 20 years of age. He had been a member of the Christian church at Irvington.
Surviving him are one brother, Edwin Thomas Wade, of Cedar Rapids; and a sister, Mrs. W. B. Parks, of Long Beach, Calif.
