Pryor, Robert E. "Bob" age 81 of Maryville, died Sunday, August 25, 2002 at University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist and a veteran of WWII. He was retired from ALCOA after 40 years of service and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Mr. Pryor was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Pearl Franklin Pryor, three sisters and one brother. Survivors include his loving wife of over 60 years, Katherine Rogers Pryor; sons & daughters- in-law, Ray & Patricia Pryor of Knoxville and Bobby & Linda Pryor of Maryville; grandchildren and great-grandchildren are Connie, Mickey & Lindsey Ricker, Eddie Hope, Katy & Andrew Pryor, Kellie Pryor, Kathy Pryor, LeAnn & Tyler Rahn, Jeff Pryor; sister & brother-in-law, Erma & Burl Hickman of Knoxville; brother-in-law, Dale Roberts; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 27, 2002, West Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Steve Frye and Rev. Joe Nickell officiating. Interment 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2002 at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Cedar Grove Church Building Fund, 5302 Nails Creek Rd., Maryville, TN 37804.
