CAUTION: The sources vary considerably for this wife of Clark H. King. Great caution should be used for anyone entering her into their family tree.
Her name in Jefferson county cemetery listings was "Helen Louise Lyon King", wife of Clark H. King and and unknown "Welsh". DOB Sept. 1, 1858 and DOD Aug. 14, 1936.
These appear to have major flaws:
It isn't clear where the first name of "Helen" comes from. "Louise" is used in her obituary, but "Lucia" is used in her Jefferson county death record. That death record is curious because it states that she was born on Sept. 1, 1858 in Missouri, but died in Iowa City, Iowa on July 30, 1936. So why a Jefferson county death record???
Her death record in Jefferson county (for whatever reason) gives the name of her second husband's surname as "Welch", not "Welsh".
Her JC death record gives the names of her parents as Andrew Lyon and Margaret Shafer Lyon.
Obituary transcription for Helen Louise "Lucia" Lyon King Welsh/Welch is pending. It in itself is flawed as it indicates that she died on August 14, 1936 (which may have accounted for previous listings of her death on that date). It gives her DOB as August 31, 1857, which doesn't square with her death record. Sigh.
Below is an obituary for the first husband, Clark H King. He died in Chicago, Ill., not Fairfield, Jefferson county, Iowa:

Fairfield, Ia., March 21 -
Mail Carrier Dies
Many Fairfield folks were sorry to learn of the death of Clark H. King which occurred Monday afternoon at five o'clock in Chicago after several months of ill health. Mr. King was one of the best known men in Jefferson county having been a rural carrier from the city post office for a number of years, only retiring when compeled to do so by ill health. The family who had been residing in Chicago for the past three or four years were preparing to return to their home here that Mr. King's expressed wish might be granted and that he might spend his remaining days in Fairfield among old friends.
Mr. King was 70 years of age and is survived by his wife and three children, Chalmers A., Harry and Miss Helen. The remains will be brought to Fairfield and the funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at the First Presbyterian church. The last service will be in charge of Jefferson Lodge No. 4 I.O.O.F. of which he was a member."
Note: Helen Louise Lyons King is buried in the King family plot, but does not have a headstone or inscription.
