Virginia Mae Adams was born 12 Mar 1923 to Charles Lee and Tina Lucetta Reed Adams. A 1942 graduate of North Hollywood High School in California, she married her first husband Jack R Crist I in 1943 at the Naval Base Chapel in Corpus Christie, Texas. One son, Jack R Crist II, was born in Feb 1945 just prior to Jack R Crist I's death in WWII. Virginia married her second husband, Thorvold Grant Thompson, in 1947 at the Methodist Church in Huntington Park, Ca. Two children from this second marriage were Margaret Susan Thompson Rutledge b 1950 and Theodore Grant Thompson b 1961. No children were born to a third marriage late in life to Alvin Musick. In addition to her great love of her children, Virginia's joy in life was her dogs. She owned a kennel at one time breeding, raising and showing thorough bred Champion Boxer dogs.
Virginia's ashes were scattered in the Pacific Ocean North of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, Ca at a spot known as Bonita Cove on the Neptune Society's San Francisco Yacht Naiad. In attendance was Virginias sons Jack Crist & Ted Thompson and daughter-in-law Margaret Crist. Daughter Margaret Susan sent her love as she was unable to attend.
