Trula E. Mouser, 93, of St. Louis, formerly of Friedheim, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Bentley's Extended Care in St. Louis. She was born July 16, 1918, in Lixville, MO, daughter of Harry and Emma Doggett Statler. She and Roy Franklin Mouser were married March 29, 1941. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 1995.
Mrs. Mouser was a teacher at Friedheim and New Wells Lutheran schools.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid in Friedheim.
Survivors include two daughters, June (and Charles) Schuessler of Uniontown, MO; Wanda Macke of St. Ann, MO; a sister, Mae Marie Thomason of Farmington, MO; a step-brother, Lonnie Bangert of Jackson, MO; two step-sisters, Wilma Ruppel of Oak Ridge, MO; Stella Uhlig of Kansas City, KS; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, John and LeRoy Mouser; two stepbrothers, Ervin and Tony Bangert; and a son-in-law, Charles Macke.
Friends may call Sunday and until time of service Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Adam Mueller and Roger Steinbrueck officiating. Burial will be in Sedgewickville-Lixville Cemetery in Bollinger County.
The family deeply acknowledges the love and care given to Trula by Connie Boyer, Karen Jaramella and Rose.
