Son of James Claude McInturf and Virginia Roland, he worked as an automobile mechanic since the age of 14. He was a member of the Nazarene Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting knives, CB radios, and other unusual items. He was was survived by his wife, Jancie; two daughters, Jama Dilbeck (Andy) and Darla Sharp (Donald); half-sister, Lillian Black; eight grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives. He was precceded in death by his first wife; two brothers, Claude McInturf and Don McInturf; one sister, Loraine McInturf; one half-brother, Albert McInturf and one half-sister, Otis Garner. His graveside funeral was held on September 16, 2010, with the Rev. Lewis Bernard officiating.
