Adair County News: Tim Cravens, 72-year-old retired farmer, died at his home on Russell Creek in Adair County on Monday, October 17. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Kit Cravens; three daughters, Mrs. Sara White, Columbia, Mrs. Ann Conover, Russell Springs, and Mrs. Eula Mae Wencke, Greenwood, Indiana; and five sons, Charles and Garnett Cravens, Fairdale, George Cravens, Norwood, Ohio, Logan Cravens, Sheldon, Illinois, and Paul Cravens, Gilman, Illinois. Funeral services were held this morning, Wednesday, at the Freedom Separate Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements were by the Rippetoe Funeral Home in Russell Springs.
